Boat Rentals

Anyone familiar with boat rentals in the Riveria Maya. I dont want to go on a tour or charter. I would rather explore the region myself and possibly have a romantic excursion. Any suggestions

You're talking about the Yucatan area, right?
Are you talking about going out for just a day? I don't know of any 'rentals' like that. I'm not saying you couldn't hire a captain in a smaller 'panga' type boat, but that wouldn't be very romantic.
