Best route from Cuba to Utila in a week?

does anyone have any advice on the best route to follow to get from Cuba to Utila? I'm aware I can fly from Havana to San Pedro Sula but online I'm getting a probhibitively expensive $450 quote. Anybody got any cheaper suggestions?

I'd love to sail it but so far, other than flights, my research has turned up Havana-Cancun by Royal Cruises Holidays, Cancun - Belze city by bus (changing at Chetumal), Belize City to Punta Gorda by Boat and Punta Gorda to Puerto Cortes by boat... that's as far as I've got. Can you get from Puerto Cortes to Utila direct or via Ceiba?

All suggestions gratefully received!

Thanks
