Best Driving MAPS - Costa Rica?
What do you think are the best driving maps for Costa Rica? Are they available online or in a store somewhere?
My fiance and I are traveling to Costa Rica for our honeymoon in June and are going to be driving (renting from Tricolor). We are traveling from Alajuela to Arenal, then to Monteverde, and then back to Alajuela.
We are staying at Hotel Villa Bonita in Alajuela, The Lost Iguana Resort in Arenal area, Hotel Fonda Vela in Monteverde area, and finally the Hotel Bougainvillea in Santo Domingo de Heredia (about 15 minutes from SJO).
Thanks for the help!!

Shillmac, I noticed a lot of people seem to like the map from www.mapcr.com. Have you seen or used this map? Why do you think that the Berndston & Berndston map is better?
To everyone, do you think GPS's are reliable, or is it better to use maps? I know we definitely want to have maps no matter what, but I am wondering if GPS's are worth it. I know they can be wrong and unreliable sometimes, at least here in the states.

I bought the same waterproof map on Amazon. The reviews there rated it well. It does look like it will be helpful. Your hotels in Monteverde and Arenal are marked on the inset maps for those areas. (I didn't see the other two, but could have missed them.)
We haven't been to CR yet, but the map is helpful as we plan.
