Belize Pictures

I have my pictures online for anyone who's interested. I took out the really bad ones but there may still be some that are a bit redundant - I just haven't really had a lot of time to go through and pick out the ones I like the very best! But here's what I have! They're in picassa, so the slideshow option works the best. Although the captions don't always seem to show up that way.

Thanks!

If the link doesn't work, let me know and I can email it to anyone interested.

what the heck was that man at Tikal holding in his hand? yuk! scary!
hahaha! "ummm... I can't swim dude!" cute (me neither)
I loved your view at Portofino, all the sea creatures were incredible
I'm in love with Ambergris, awesome sunrises, soft sand, lots of hermit crabs (that was part of my son's entertainment besides the golf carts - he was 14),wish I could live there
I have to say, you are a cute couple
thanks for sharing your pics!

Loved them. Especially all the underwater photos. I don't think we saw so much pretty coral! Great photos; thanks for sharing!

Oh and the tarantula photos--impressive. What was that other spider. . not the golden orb, but the one with the pincers in front? Found one of those in Costa Rica last month. Will have to post a photo and we can compare.

virginia - for the underwater pictures, they're actually two different cameras and I can't tell you which are which, but I have a fuji waterproof camera: http://www.fujifilm.com/products/dig...finepix_z33wp/

It's a great waterproof, sandproof camera. It can go about 12 feet underwater I believe.

Some of the other pictures were taken by our guide. They take pictures for us and post them on their website and we could download them at no charge. I'm not sure what kind of camera he used. And my pictures and is look to be about the same quality.

shillmac - the spider - I think our guide told us it's a scorpion spider. Related to both a scorpion and a spider. It was pretty big, maybe 5 or 6 inches across, and that was scrunched up.

Yeah, the one I saw as well--extremely large. Tully mentioned to me that it was a "whip scorpion". I've been intending to look it up.

hamburger - we stayed at Portofino in AC. It was a great resort! Very friendly staff and very peaceful! But it's way up north, so everywhere you go is by boat. We didn't mind much, but some people might feel a bit isolated. For me, that was just what I needed - some isolation! They do have their own water taxi to take you into San Pedro, but the schedule is a bit limited. I'd highly recommend it and would definitely go back!
