BEER

Are there any A/I's in or around PDC that have canned or bottled beer available? Even willing to pay out cash for it. The idea of only tap beer is just awful! PLEASE HELP!!

I've read several reviews of Gran Porto Real..that they have Modelos in the suite's minifridge (and at the AI rate, the staff will reload the fridge daily). I'm pretty sure you get cans at the bars (with teh AI package, too). I was wondering the same thing. I even went so far as to do a search on an AI website for the words 'corona bottles' and 'modelo cans'. Check out this web site for food & beverage reviews of PDC AI's: http://www.ramproductions.com/survey

Was at Porto Real in December. Corona in bottles definitely available. They would ask your room number for this, but they never charged you extra for it. Unlimited bottled Corona!

Maybe you could try going out of your resort and get a few Sol or Dos Equis beers. They taste quite different in Mexico, much fresher and less bitter.

If you can find it, try an Indio. It has to be the best beer brewed in Mexico!

I have never been to an AI, but have traveled extensiveley in non tourist areas. Its funny becaue in this scenario draft beer is a real rarity. Anyway bottled beer is availible anywhere I have ben in Mexico. Some bottles I realy like are Negro Modelo, Victoria Oscuro, Indio, and Noche Buena. Go out and find yourself some bottled beer and enjoy.
