BDC Cabinas

I have a question for all the BDC travellers - If you had to choose which of the deluxe cabinas to stay in, which would be your favorite and why?

Thanks so much for all the info that you provide on this forum. It has really helped a great deal in my planning so far for our trip at the end of next month.

Hi Kevin,

Although some folks do have their favorites, the answer you'll most typically get is that all the cabinas are terrific! There is no wrong choice to make here...

We stayed in La Palma last year which is a deluxe with an upstairs loft and a thatched roof. We were very happy there. We had several cappuchin monkeys running around our 'yard' on several occasions and had 2 scarlet macaws in a tree right outside the cabin on our last day. We also had a leaf cutter ant colony that marched along right in front of our private seating area each day.

The views of the gulf from our porch were breathtaking and we just loved the outdoor shower!

The king sized bed on the ground level was a bit firm for my personal preference, but in no way detracted from my visit. I loved everything else about La Palma.

Ahhh, BdC! Can I come with you?? ;-)

Congo has a great deck for lounging, gulf viewing. The best.

Agree with the others; they really are all good. We like the views from Congo and Lapa the best. Tucan and Mariposa have tubs which appeals to me. I think they all have their good points. Mariposa has the most privacy since it's on the end, so that's sort of thought of as the "honeymoon" cabin. Hard to go wrong at BdC.

And let's not forget my favorite, Sol, one of the standards, but with the best shower view of the lot!

. . .just had to throw that in although you didn't ask!

Thank you all for your opinions. You guys are very helpful. I guess I'll just take my chances and not request any place in particular. It sounds like we can't go wrong either way.
