We returned this week from BA, Iguazau, and Mendoza. In BA we stayed at La Otro Ortillo a B&B in Palermo Veijo. Great location close to all the restaurants and the 6 blocks from the Subte.
In Iguazu, Los Troncos was amazing and resort like, but with conveniences. Each room is two stories with a balcony. A pool and great bar and eating area. Sofi is amazing and goes out of her way to insure you are comfortable. She organized a car from the airport, told us how to find the bus to the park, what to see in the park. Many of the accomodations in Puerto Iguazu are out of the way. Los Troncos is about 10 minute walk to to town, the bus depot and restaurants. If you do not want to go to town, the staff will cook for you.
In Mendoza, if you go, Hotel Bohemia. Very central and I was able to park our rental car in front. Homeade apple Malbec tart every morning.

We stayed at the Nuss Hotel. Very clean, the rooms are airy, sunny and the service is spectacular!
