Is anyone familiar with the Flamingo Beach Resort in Cancun? Thinking about planning a girls 4 day weekend in March 05 and found a good price but really want to know if it is clean and safe.

Not been there but here's what I know. Good location across from LaIsla shopping/dining. A couple on another message board has been twice recently and enjoyed their stays. Not plush but clean and friendly with good service. rates #57 at tripadvisor.com where you can read reviews of hotels by "real people"!

this is a great place, on a GREAT beach. There is alot to do.. For Costa this is a real nice place... I have stayed here 5 times and love it...Check out Bahia Potreo great too and the food oh the food...

I totally agree. But I think ddbtk is talking about another resort of the same name in Cancun!

I didn't realize there were two hotels/resorts. We are considering the one on the north end of the hotel zone across from Plaza Flamino mall. THe other thing we are considering is going all inclusive. The cost for this would increase by $50/night. Sounds like a good deal???? What do you all think?

There is only one in Cancun. We are not AI fans as we eat out every night but to each his own!
