Any comments on Dazzler Tower?

Hi,
I'm considering a handful of choices for a few nights in Buenos Aires and Dazzler Tower seems interesting because of it's modern look and good price (I'm a little tired of old style hotels and wanted to try something different this time). Has anyone been to this hotel lately. I can't seem to find many reviews either here or in Trip advisor..
My other choices were NH Latino, Intercontinental and Regal Pacific, (the last two are a bit more expensive).
I'm travelling with a year old baby so cleanliness and room size are a big deal on this trip.
Thanks!

You won't find many older reviews because this is a nearly new property. Looks great, but I have never stayed there.

I have stayed at the Regal Pacific, which is a fantastic hotel. Rooms are large by Buenos Aires standards, and the bathrooms are huge by Buenos Aires standards. Highly recommended.

Thanks DrDawggy, I figured I wouldn't find many reviews of this property. I guess I'll try it and later post my comments. I know you really liked the Regal Pacific and it sure looks nice on the internet but I guess I'll stick to the Dazzler because of their cheaper rate.

I will look forward to reading your review. I have wondered about this property. The Dazzler Tower appears to be the "crown jewel" of the Dazzler hotels in Buenos Aires.

Just got back from Argentina and as promised here's my review on Dazzler Tower Hotel.

Let me first just say that we only stayed in this hotel for one night. Our trip was spent mostly in Mar del Plata visiting family so we only stayed in B.A the first and last nights of the trip, so we didn't get to enjoy some amenities like the spa, gym or indoor swimming pool.

We decided to spend the first night in B.A at the Loi Suites Recoleta because of it's location. We thought it was a nice small hotel with a very pleasant breakfast area in a glass covered garden with a swimming pool. The room we were given was a bit small and we felt cramped, but on the good side it had a microwave oven and a small sink which was really convenient since we were travelling with our one year old.

The last night of our stay was spent at the Dazzler Tower. I chose it because I wanted a modern styled hotel for a change and we were quite pleasantly surprised. The hotel lobby is very spacious and nicely furnished in a minimalist style with marble floors and dark wood furniture. There are two desks with computers for internet access and in the back you find the buffet breakfast area and restaurant, also beautifully decorated. The staff was very courteous and we didn't have any problems.

The rooms are quite large and also very nicely appointed. The bed has a huge dark wood headboard and on the side a very comfy sofa. The bathroom is white tile with a large marble top.

Breakfast is a well displayed buffet with fruit, cereal, assorted "medialunas" and whatever else you may prefer.

I can't really comment on the location since we didn't spend much time there, but knowing the area reasonably well I believe it is about two or three blocks from Galerias Pacifico and two blocks from Plaza San Martin. We had lunch with friends in a nice restaurant a block away called El Federal which gives a twist to some typical argentinian dishes from different parts of the country.

We really enjoyed our brief stay at the Dazzler and we actually regret spending the 50 extra dollars on the Loi Suites when the Dazzler has larger rooms and the same quality level.

In case anyone needs updated prices: We payed 78 pesos for a remis from Ezeiza airport to the hotel in Recoleta (on the counter at Manuel Tienda Leon) and 56 pesos for a "remis" from the Dazzler hotel to the airport.

I stayed at the Dazzler Towers for 7 nights. It is not a luxury hotel but it is definitely a comfortable hotel. Rooms are large. Beds are very comfortable. They have very nice comforters once you remove the comforter cover (it is very heavy). What makes this hotel is the staff. Couldn't be more accomodating and corteous.
They do have two computers dowstairs bur there is lots of competition for it. However, I had my laptop with me and they loaned me a cable and I had free internet in my room throughout my stay. Very nice.
Breakfast was not bad, not fantastic either.
Location was unbeatable: one small block from Florida. 1/12 small blocks to galerias pacifico. 1/2 block to a taxi stand.
Although I did not think the looks were fantastic (not bad either), I probably would stay there again because it really is a comfortable hotel.
