D'Nest and Lamanai sounds like a great bet. I think I'd prefer this as opposed to Orange Walk.Then can catch an early bus or shuttle to The Trek Stop. Thanks so much for the idea! Also looked into Caves Branch, but they require 3 nights.

Oops meant to say "an early bus or shuttle to Macal Camp". Still ironing out details with them which is rather frustrating. Once it's a done-deal, I can book other places.
