All inclusive guest exchanges

Not sure I'm using the right terminology. We are going to Playa del Carmen in March. We are thinking of staying at Playacar Palace so that we can use the facilities at other Palace resorts such as in Cozumel. Any personal experience with this resort? Are there any other chains that offer the same kind of exchange?

The Iberostar resorts also offer exchange privileges.

I think also Wyndham offers this exchange. They have a great hotel at Cozumel.

Enjoy Playa

Thanks for your input. Has anyone stayed At the Playacar Palace? Pros and Cons? How does the Iberostar chain compare to the Palace chain?

I haven't stayed at the Palace, but the Iberostars a great resorts. There are several Iberostar Resorts in the Riviera Maya. One (the Grand) is adults only. The Iberostar that is closest to Playa is the IB Tucan/Quetzal. They have exchange privileges with the IB in Cozumel and the IB Del Mar/Beach at the Paraiso complex.

We just came back from a visit to Cancun and the Riviera Maya. While there we visited three Iberostars and 4 Palace properties Except for the high end Grand, the Iberostars were not as nice as the Palace and the food was not as good.

We're staying at the Cozumel Palace in May - looks LOVELY and the reviews on Tripadvisor are impeccable. Check them out!
