About Neta
Hi To You All:
Has anyone heard anything from or about Neta since she left Costa Rica.
I know she is in Israel...but I am wondering how she is doing.
Neta , if your are reading this ,please let all us Fodorites who miss you , know how you are doing.
Thank You
Percy

Hi Percy. . .it took me a little longer to "re-Fodorite" myself than I intended!
Just corresponded with Neta last week. She is still up to her usual good deeds--even from afar! I had sent her our itinerary for July, just to run it by her and let her know what we would be up to this visit, and she wrote back immediately and asked if we had gotten a discount at Costa Verde.
You know she has that travel package (Heart of Costa Rica) and Costa Verde is in the package--so she deals with them frequently. She e-mailed them, and in a short while, we received "reconfirmation" of our time there with an adjusted total. I was very grateful to her--so like her. Always going the extra mile to help anyone out--just like she was always so kind to do when she was a Fodor regular.
She is staying busy right now working on a new business venture. I don't know what it is--she said she would tell me more when she had it firmed up a bit more. Anxious to hear.
Tierra Ama is not on our agenda this summer. We will SO miss stopping there for a night or two, but absolutely don't think we could bear to be there right now. I know the place is doing great business wise, and the new owners have made some changes that I think will serve them well. To us, it will always be Neta's and Arbel's place, and their absence from there would just not seem right.
Perhaps in a year or two. . .
But yes, all is well with Neta and Arbel. They are, I think, happy to be "home".

Thanks shillmac ...... I knew I could count of you as always.
Like you I am sure that Neta's old place is terrific but I would always be thinking of Neta being there.
I am waiting for her to come to Canada.
That is also so much like Neta...Always knowing what country is the BEST ( lol)
Thanks again

Glad all is well Percy- when I clicked aroung I got the impression you just got back form an epic trip(??)
My trip is nothing special- on a whim I bought tickets to Jamaica- 5-6 days in Negril, a few days at Treasure Beach and hopefully a few days in the Blue Mts.
I have visited most of the Caribbean but never Jamaica- I suspect I will wish I was in Central America instead

I have always wanted to go to Jamaica so do let us know what you thought of the place.
Yes, I just got back from a month long trip to Tasmania, Australia and New Zealand.
What a terrific country they have "down under."
You take care in Jamaica greenfieldhunter !!

Hi Greenfieldhunter! Have a great time in Jamaica--we've not been there. We'll be on Tortola, BVI June 10-20 (daughter's wedding) and are starting to get really excited about it. Heading to CR when we return. Gotta have my pura vida fix.
Do let us know how it all went!
