1st choice booked - Need Hotel help!

We will be in Manuel Antonio for 3 nights at the beginning of November. We have a 13 & 17 year old w/ myself and hubbie. From great reviews and resonable price my first choice was La Posada which is all booked. Can anyone recommend another property. We will have a car if that help but I liked the idea of walking to the beach. Is parking a problem? I'd like to stay around $150./night if that's do-able but have enough space, perhaps a small fridge and coffeemaker, too! Thanks much!

As you probably already know, most places aren't on the beach they're on up the hill with incredible views of the park and Pacific. The only place I've considered on the beach besides La Posada is Hotel or Cabinas Espadillas, but I haven't ever stayed there. Costa Verde is in your price range, but is up the hill.

Look at La Mariposa or Mango Moon. I know everyone has wonderfully experiences staying at La Posada, but I laugh having seen it. It is small and on a little dirt road etc. I hope they are not charging you $150!

When we stayed at Mango Moon, they didn't allow kids; they have new owners so hopefully the policy has changed but doublecheck.
