Lori, we had our ceremony on a gliding gondola at sunset. It was just us, our officiant, and our photographer. Yes, it was beautiful and I'd share my photos with you, but I wouldn't dream of doing so here where you have your own fabulous pictures. Perhaps another time.

I agree the backdrop of Florence provides an even more Rennaisance feel and it is also a fabulous place to get married. It's my husband's favorite city (Venice is mine), so perhaps we will follow in your foot steps on another milestone anniversary.

Very nice photos. I, too, liked the reflection of Florence's monuments in the water puddles - neat effect. Some of the shots are amazing, there are all these people around and no one seems to be looking at the bride and groom dressed up in tux and gown in the centre! So are you both Italian? (was there a specific reason for wanting to get married in Florence?) What a beautiful wedding album and the results in black and white are just exquisite.
