I just love those black-and-whites. They have those "dated" aura about them - especially in a nice city like Florence.
Congratulations.

How unique and wonderful! You are a beautiful bride. What building did you say the vows in? I just love the photography too. Best wishes!

Well, you are stunning. It is so nice to see such a happy couple and at Palazzo Vecchio too!

Love those puddles too! I think I am going to steal that idea and have all sorts of puddle shots, lol.

Nice photos. All the best.
I noticed those plants/bushes in the main hall of the Ponte Vecchio. Were those always there? Or did you have those put up for your wedding?

I'm sorry - I meant Palazzio Vecchio.

St Knicks - I had nothing to do with any of the decor.. the plants were there when we got there! A new addition I guess.

Lori, what beautiful photos! It looks like it was truly the memorable day of a lifetime. I just love the idea that you chose black and white. The format makes for such classical shots.

Your pictures made me want to go back and reminisce over my Venice ten year anniversary vow renewal shots, as well. Ah....marriage (or remarriage) in Italy. It's a beautiful thing, isn't it? (sigh)

Congratulations and wishes for many happy years to you and Matthew.

and just think...you'll go back for your 5th, 10th, and 50th wedding anniversaries and will always have something special. you don't have the "restaurant" you have a "city".

Lovely photos and a very handsome bride and groom. Having Firenze as a backdrop is truly special.

Best Wishes on your marriage!

Statia, where in Venice did you renew your vows?? If there is any place more romantic than Florence, it is certainly Venice! How wonderful..
