which city has the worst parking in all of Europe?

I would say one of these three:<BR><BR>Des Moines, Baton Rouge or Coeur d'Alene.<BR>

Rome. Double parked, triple parked, quadruple parked. Parked on the sidewalks. <BR><BR>There are lots of cities in Europe where parking is a problem, because they are old and were never meant for 21st century traffic, but most of them have car parks on the edge of the city and transport in to compensate. But Rome, well, the whole city is a stacked carpark! Awful to navigate and and lord help you if you are the first one parked in by the curb and you want to leave on your timetable!

Downtown Venice. All of the parking spaces are covered with water.

Put pontoons on your car in Venice.

I vote for Paris!

Arcos de la Frontera in Spain. Went round and around the only parking square in town Chevy Chase style and finally just went back down the hill.

Julie-your post brought some memories back! My husband and I had to laugh, we tried to back up to the parking at the Parador, realized that was not going to work so had to go all the way out of town to get back to the parking area.

I would say that all of these cities are bad.<BR><BR>London, Paris, Florence, Versailles, Verona, Ghent, Glasgow, Nancy, Sparta and Warsaw.<BR><BR>Oh whoops. Those are all in Kentucky.<BR>

Eze was pretty bad.

The parking in London is the most expensive I'm sure... &pound;1 for 6 minutes on some meters in central London, or &pound;35+ for a 24 hr period in many NCP carparks. That's worse than airport tariffs!
