We will be in Florence from July 14-17. Can anyone suggest a wine tour /tour company that you would recommend for us to take. There are 3 of us

Hi FV - CAF Tours and SITA do wine-tasting excursions to the Chianti area from Florence:

CAF:
www.caftours.com/en/regtoursac.htm

SITA:

Other companies include:

http://www.accidentaltourist.com/

Alternatively for a personalised tour, Luca at 'Hills & Roads' has had numerous recommendations here:

www.hillsandroads.com

Here's a recent thread which you may find useful:

Hope this helps ...

Absolutely look into accidental tourist... it was an amazing wine tasting and Italian cooking class! It was one of the top experiences of our life (my husband and I are in our mid-20s) If you want any more information let me know.

I wholeheartedly second the recommendation for Accidental Tourist. It was a highlight of our trip.

Hello,

There are lot many websites that offer touring services.

Personally I had a nice experience with this site. http://www.tuscany-cooking-class.com/tours.html. I joined for a cooking class and a wine tour with them and we had a really great time with their warm and friendly nature. Hope you will also feel the same, if you plan to go head with them, for your trip.

Otherwise there are lot many other sites also, you can find it, when you google it. May be this site also looks good ,
http://www.excursionsintuscany.com

Have a nice journey.

Does anyone have more information about Accidental Tourist - I am now thinking that is a great alternative and don't know how to reach individuals who had specifically posted on that before for one of our days while we are in Florence in July

I dont but I do know the company that JNancy posted on above. They are great and the people that work with them do have warm and wonderful personalities. They have day classes and more. Highly recommend.
