Patricia
You can get a train directly from Windsor & Eton Riverside station to Waterloo station. There seems to be 2-3 trains an hour and the journey is about 50 minutes.
From Waterloo it's about a 5 minute walk to the London Eye.
Have a good time!
Karen

Hello again...

Remember Windsor is served by two train stations (Windsor Central Station which is opposite the Castle (and only goes to Slough), plus Windsor and Eton Riverside Station, which is the station you take to get to the London Eye)

You can get train times either by going to:

www.railtrack.co.uk
or
http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/

I would leave sometime for you to get to the London Eye - remembering that trains can run late (anyhow that was my experience this summer) and you have to arrive at least 30 minutes before your ticket time at the London Eye regardless whether you have pre-booked.

If you are still going to the Donkey House or you are going to be around Eton then you will be very near the station. For example you are about 5minutes away from the Station if you are going to have lunch at the pub.

Have Fun!

You may be interested to know that it is claimed that you can see Windsor castle from the top of the eye.
