Bottled water and parking would cost just about the same in New York..And why did you think you had to add 35% to your meal..the prices on the menu are what you pay and you can leave a tip if you want. A cover charge is usual in lots of places in Europe and in the US too.

Somehow I don´t believe the water bottle part. And 3 euros per hour for parking is not much. Parking costs in all cities. That is because they wish people would leave their cars outside city centers and use public transport to get into the city. Everywhere in Europe there is a wish that there would be less cars in city centers. Less cars, much nicer for people.

Why does a bottle of mineral water cost 10 EURO in Rome?

If you don't like the price, don't buy it. Fill up your own water bottle with water from Rome's many fountains. It's free.

Why do I have to add 35% to the cost of a meal?

If you don't like the service charges, don't eat at restaurants. Buy food from grocery stores instead.

Why does car park cost 3 EURo an hour and 30 EURO a night?

If you don't like charges for parking, don't rent a car. Take public transportation.

No one is forcing you to pay these things you're complaining about. The question should be: why do you complain so much?
