My husband and I will be in Florence May 7-11, then the Cinque Terre (with a stop in Pisa to see the tower!) from the evening of the 11-13, then back to Florence for one night before our flight on the 14th. There's isn't a whole lot of time left for me to convince my husband that a trip to the outlet stores will save us money in the long run!

We'll be in Italy April 29-May 14. We're renting a house in Tuscany a little south of Radda with another couple for the two weeks. Our fourth trip to Italia, there second. Can't wait---also looking forward to a different sort of experience since on our other trips we traveled around to various destinations. But no matter how you do it, you simply can not go wrong with Italy---great food, great wine, great people. Now if only the dollar was a little stronger!!!!!!

Happy to add that my husband and I are also going to be in Italy in 2005...our first trip! We're as excited as a six-year old is on Christmas morning...

Arrive Rome 4/23 and head immediately to Florence (via train) where we've rented a villa for seven days. Planing a side trip to Venice -- would appreciate advise on getting train tickets from Florence to Venice.

Return to Rome for an overnight stay on 4/29. A couple of days in London and then home to Connecticut.

Love this board...I'm positively addicted!!!

March 26, Milan, Venice
March 27,28,29 Florence
March 30,31,1,2 Rome

Spring break, so it's short, but we're all very excited.

All fodorites have been extremely helpful. I wish I had found you sooner.

We were going to fly to Milan May 25th -June 8th, spending time in Bellagio, then to Verona, ending up in Monterosso......BUT, on my way to work, fell on my steps and fractured my ankle!! Trip is off, I am so sad....Hotels were comfirmed, but had not booked the air yet, thank the Lord!! Hotels were cancelled. Maybe next year.....

What a Bummer Allyson...I imagine that you must be quite disappointed about missing your trip to sunny Italy...

But there is always tomorrow and I hope that next year you can fulfill your dream.

I will trow a coin in Trevi Fountain for you ..I will be there the end of May.
Ciao,
AnnaMaria

It's getting closer! We're going back for our fifth visit, arriving April 30 and leaving May 15. We're coordinating a large group of close relatives and friends-16-wish us luck! We're in a villa this year which we've checked out on a previous trip. We are sooo excited (as usual)--it's always fun to see your favorites through "others eyes". Looking forward to spring time in Tuscany! Cin Cin!! Paul

Lake Como area May 26-29
Venice May 29-June 4 (tour with Rick Steves' ETBD)
Wherever I want to roam June 4-8
Depart Milan June 9.

Does anyone have a B&B recommendation for Belaggio or Varenna? I would like to stay under 80 Euros, and located in town.
