And I can't wait to see Rome, take my course in Bevano, and meet Kismetchimera! Kismetchimera, I will respond to your most recent e-mail to me tonight or tomorrow. So looking forward to meeting you (and la tua famiglia!)
Hang in there, everyone...spring is coming! (Well, that's what I hear anyway..you'd never know it from the weather here!)

From the Cupolone the view of Rome is absolutely magnificent!!
Dick ,up to few years ago, everytime I went back to Rome I used to climb the tourtous steps that led up to the Cupolone, but now I just admire the view from the first floor and of course I take the elevator..
I hate to admit that my mind think that I am still very young, but my body say: No Way...
BC, Cristina and Brooke look toward our meeting..La mia famiglia salut You and made you a honorary Rome's Citizen.

Happy to say that we are going 10 May to 24 May (see I'm already European), have loved all the advice, bought a gsm phone, photocopied volumes of notes, made museum reservations and fretted about packing LIGHT-yikes! Been drinking Italian coffee and wine to get in the spirit-can hardly wait. My two college kids are headed to Italy on 19 March so 'll have a vicarious preview!

My husband and I and my brother and sister-in-law, are leaving on April 28th for 4 days on the French Riviera before we train into Italy. Will spend time in Venice, Florence, Rome, Sorrento, Positano, Capri, Orvieto, Pienza, San Leonino and the Cinque Terre. Leave Milan for overnight train to Amsterdam where we will walk the canals, eat the Gouda and shop before heading back to the midwest on May 27.
Planning on another trip for 2-weeks to Switzerland (Bernese Oberland) with my daughter in late August, early September.
I just never get enough.

We leave for Italy on March 16!! I can't believe it is here already. We will be in Florence, Rome and London. We received a lot of great information on this board, from packing, to hotels, to restaurants....you name it and we're using most of the ones suggested.
