To begin with this is has been very busy. We started out with a month trip to Asia which include Hong Kong, Shanghai, Vietnam, AnkorWat in March, Our daughter got married in Venice, we stay one week there for the wedding-rented the apartment thru Venicrentals(we did the same the previous September when we went to check out the wedding sites and different hotels for the reception). By the way they did a good job. After the wedding we drove to Lake Como for a few days, stayed a week in Barbarino and tour Tuscany before heading to Cinque Terre. It was over 3 weeks. In June went to New Orleans for the grooms family celebration. In July went to WA for a long summer, while there drove up to Vancouver for 2 weeks. Went to NY in September to visit our daughter in her new apartment(she moved there from the Bay Area). I am now looking forward for my trip to Shanghai for 2 weeks in November and Christmas will be in NY and New Year in Paris for 2 weeks. My question is besides Paris where should we go while in France? I love to travel and experience different culture and life style.

Visiting bro (who is in military) for Christmas in Bavaria. Skiing in CH, or Italy. And, hopefully, New Years in Nice to visit my friend, or Paris depending on where she'll be.
BTW, if you haven't seen Under the Tuscan Sun chk it out. It's very, very loosely-based on the book but the scenery is bellisimo.

I'll be going with my aunt to Paris. It was a spur of the moment cheap flight from SFO-one of the promotions offered recently. Then in July I'll be returning to Paris and on to Venice and Prague with my own family. We may go to Milan & Bellagio also but not sure now.

Hi Scarlett -- I went to Madrid, Toledo, Sevilla, Granada and the Costa del Sol with my hubby at the end of September. I've just returned from five days in Aruba (which I loved) with three girlfriends. The trips were close together, so now I want to stay put for a while...but not for too long.

Well, I sold my home so the great apartment hunt is on!
So as you can imagine, travel plans, big ones anyway, are held off until 2004.

Wow! Some great trips are planned (and a number of them already taken).
It's fun to read about other peoples destinations.
We're leaving for Austria on Friday and a trip to Chicago in late November. Then we're home until April. Our Prague trip is in the planning stage and we're going to the Cayman's in June!

My hubby and I are going to Paris third week of April (as many of you know on the board b/c of my endless question asking).

Booked plane tix . . .BA Boston to London to Paris. Probably going to stay at Hotel du Champ de Mars, but have not booked yet (they don't take reservations til 12/1 for our dates).

This is my first trip to Paris . . . I can't wait!

p.s. We are also going to FL for Christmas to visit family, but that trip is not as exciting!

We have travel extensively this since December 7, 2002. 7 day Southern Carribbean cruise on the Costellation, March 03, 3 night cruise to the Bahamas on Norwegian Majesty, June 03 Las Vegas and rafting the Colorado River for 3 days, July 03 the Greenbriar Resort in West Virginia, 4 night cruise on the Majesty of the Seas to the Bahamas, a Thanksgiving cruise to the Western Caribbean on the Norwegian Wind and I am going to Egypt on an A & K trip to 12 days in January 04.
