@Gretchen - what process? I have nothing to offer. I just post my photos to Facebook, but I assume Claire may not want to add everyone here as a friend, so I just wondered if she had a site already for her photos. I've seen people here do that, but I have never paid attention to what sites they have used.

I use smugmug, but it isn't free. I think a lot of people use Flickr, which is free, but I don't like the format as well. Plus smugmug has no limit on how much storage I use.

I almost hesitate to ask, but if you don't get there until June 21st, what happened to your time in London?

Oh no .. I want to hear what happened. What are your plans now?

PS: blogger.com isn't bad. You can do photos plus blog about the trip, describe the pics, etc.

Curious here too. But is anyone surprised? It has gotten very quiet on the OP's end.

if you look back guys this change happened way back when I had the drama with my mum etc at least a month ago or more. everything is still as planned since ten . .bit nervous about prague being flooded .. hoping by the time I get there it'll be ok . .I am quiet on my end as everything is sorted and now I am just waiting till I can start blogging. The trip is happening! On a side note . .anyone heard of "pearl assist" in heathrow??? basically a service that treats you in vip style and fast tracks you through customs/boarder control etc

Prague is fine, no problems there,I got a meesage from a friend in the city this morning via Facebook.

The sun is out, it stopped raining yesterday so hopefully things will dry out a bit. The river, in Prague, is going down, The center of Prague has escaped the flooding but some of the suburbs and other towns in the Czech Republic have been devastated.
Rain is forecast but let's hope it won't be so bad

Haven't heard of Pearl Assist, but it looks interesting for parties that need help, depending on cost, of course. Looks like it is for the Mid-East or Saudi Arabia market (where they tend to have a lot of bucks if traveling to London). I see they also have that in that big resort area in Egypt (Sharm Ek Sheikh).

Claire - that's really not necessary for LHR. I see that they charge 216 euros for a family of 4 - do you want to spend your money on that? That does not cover your transport to London:

From their site: On Arrival at London Heathrow, your dedicated DiamondAir agent will meet you at the airport gate, whisk you through all airport arrival processes and escort to your receiving party.

I don't remember any mum drama mentioned.
Your trip is going to be very expensive, don't waste money on things like Pearl Assist. Save your money for the necessities.

Is it possible that you forgot to update the travel board on your mum drama, since most everyone is surprised that your trip changed again? No matter, it's personal I'm sure, just curious, where are you starting now?

I don't remember any mum drama either - what happened?

Claire, I hope everything is ok on your end, and with your mum. Is she still going with you?

Did you have to change your whole itinerary then since you originally had London starting on June 17th? - I see since you asked about the Pearl Assist that you are still flying into London.. What did you have to chop out of your itinerary and how did you manage rearranging all of the accommodations? Since you now will be in London (I assume) when originally you would have been in Uzes, etc. If you are still doing London, did you move everything up a week?

Last I saw, your itinerary was the one posted on this thread: (May 7, 13 at 3:14am)

You have me a bit addicted to your updates, and now that we are all so invested, I hope you will let us know what's going on.

Cheers!

Mum drama was obliquely referred to in the OP's first post on this thread.
