While booking for holiday on line how did you save money

I would like to know what is the best website for getting great holiday deals in UK . A friend of mine spends hours on the internet and books holidays saving herself hundreds of pounds. She books her holidays separate, by booking flights and hotels separate and saves a great deal of money on this, with her latest holiday for ten,

I have tried to find holidays where i book the flight seperate from the hotel but i can never seem to find it cheaper than a package holiday and would love to know how people do this and which is the easiest way of saving money on a good quality holiday in spain

Have you asked your friend which website she uses?

yes, why don't you ask the friend who is so successful what she does?

I agree many package holidays are a good deal, and they have very good deals in some European countries if that is where you are located. I just know I have a German friend and they seem to have some very cheap packages available.

However, in general, I think the way you save by booking yourself is if you choose cheaper hotels than the packages give. That seems to be key. Because if you book the same level of hotel, often you can't beat a package, it's just you are more limited as to where you stay. Also, the flight times may be limited and often they are just for a simple itinerary or one city. You can't find customized packages if you want to wander around for a week throughout the UK.

Or buy you friend lunch or a couple of drinks and ask her to book your trip for you in exchange!
