Which hotel in Positano
I have made reservations at hotel eden and hotel villa gabrisa in positano for May 22-26 . Both are pricy and I’ll have to cancel one of them after I learn more about each. Villa gabrisa maybe more economical but I am not actually sure about location and details of each. Hotel eden has not been responding to email or phone call yet.
Most the hotels I liked were sold out...
Would appreciate any input from anyone who’s familiar with these ?

We spent a week at the Villa Gabrisa in the spring of 2014 and loved it. There are three rooms on the second floor with 24' X 24' private terraces overlooking the Mediterranean. Try to get one of those; the views are spectacular. The hotel is nice and the owners are friendly. The restaurant in the hotel is highly rated and there are several good restaurants nearby. One negative is that it is a little hike up the hill, but it is not too bad. There is a bus stop right outside the door.I highly recommend Villa Gabrisa. I can't wait to stay there again.

The room at villa gabrisa is on the first floor but the room at the hotel eden is on the fourth floor. The total is about 1000 euro more.
as for the hike, I am travelling alone. Does taxi go up there?
