Obviously Belgium. In summer you can get different climate conditions on different days of the week so you are likely to get a climate condition you like at some point. And there's beer and chocolate. And waffles. ;-)

In April you need to look to the south (no not the south of Belgium), so Spain, Portugal and Italy.

Look at Sicily, 7 world unesco sites, great food, nice people and good climate.

You don't say what nationality you are, but you may need visas to visit Schengen countries. If so you need to look into that and all the information required to obtain the visas, and the length of time to can take to get them.

When in April are you thinking of travelling, and for how long? What sort of budget do you have in mind? Does your family include young children? Seniors? What do you want to do - visit museums? cities? countryside?

Latvia. It's not as far north as Estonia.

Every European in fodors can jump into this thread and suggest their home country. Well, in every country, there guarantee to be at least one corner with good climate conditions, good places to visit and good food, as you require. Please give us more information on your preference.

Are you serious? Define "best".

Actually, don't bother. Get some guidebooks and make up your own mind. You will get no useful answers from other people, whose tastes and budget may be quite different.

What makes you think there isn't "good food" everywhere in Europe?

Sorry Wimal, but it's such a broad question. It's impossible to tell you which country is 'best'. Have you ever been to Europe? How many of you are traveling? What do you consider good weather? It's unlikely to be 'beach warm' anywhere in Europe in April.

I swam last year in April on the French Riviera.

In French we say it is 'ravigotant'.
An euphemism for so bloody cold that only stupid tourists would swim.

I was also once in crete in end April and was also one of the few to swim even it was reaching the 20c.

Impossible question. There are, what? 50 countries in Europe? How can one of them be "best" and how do you define "best?" Please go do some homework and come back when you have a clearer idea of what you are looking for.

All the European Countries are best and your decision is last for wherever you want to spend your holiday but i suggest you to go Asia continent because Asia also have many amazing countries for touring.
And India is one of them. Just visit once and you will love the iconic sights of India.
