Which Car Service
I now have our flights and hotel so I was wondering which is the most reliable car service to pick up at Heathrow and deliver to Central London. Also will need a car service 3 days later to take 6 of us to Dover for cruise. Thank you for your help.

Hello, we've used www.justairports.com twice and been happy with the service.

I booked Dot2Dot car service for Heathrow to central London hotel for March trip. Went by recommendations I read on trip advisor. During the booking process, they explained that they keep up with the flight details (change in landing times, gates, etc.) and show/tell you exactly where they will meet you (including a diagram/map).

I used www.justairports.com many times for Heathrow and Gatwick when I lived in London last year. Don't know what they can do for cruise however with the name "justairports", but they have email through their website and so they can perhaps give a recommendation if they don't provide it themselves.
They have good explanations on their website for their arrival procedures, and they include very specific directions in their confirming email, but at least for Heathrow, arrival at Terminal 3, for example, you walk straight out from immigration and customs and stand in front of the Hertz rental car counter (it's not a big area, not 50 yards for the exit and you can't miss the spot). They monitor your flight arrival from the airline and flight number you give them when you book and then park their car in the garage and walk over to the Hertz rental car counter to meet you and help you with your luggage. They don't wait right at the exit from immigration and customs with a sign with your name like other services, but that is such a mob scene, it is really more civilized to walk to the quieter spot and if you have to wait for them there a few moments it is no big deal.
I used them more than a dozen times and always found they were right on time, for arrival or departure, cars immaculate and service very nice. And less than half the price of a taxi.

Another justairports fan. You give them your flight info & they monitor the arrival time.
My niece was delayed through immigration when I had them pick her up & the driver had to wait a longer time than expected so he charged a few extra pounds but every time I've used them, I've had no problems. Also, it's cheaper if you pay cash rather than a credit card.
