Which apartment in Murren?
Hi! My husband and I are travelling to Switzerland with our 2 1/2 year old daughter in early July and have decided to go the apartment route rather than a hotel so we have a bit more room to move around while our kiddo naps. We will be in Murren for 4-5 nights. We don't need a ton of space, just at least 2 separate rooms and we would love to also have a balcony or terrace with a great view so we can still enjoy the scenery while we are stuck inside at nap time! I have found several great candidates, but most of the these places have little to no reviews that I can find, so I am wondering if anybody has stayed at them?
- Chalet Anemone
-Chalet Helvetia
- Raufthubel
-Haus Sigrist "Stockli"
Thanks!

Contact Denise Fussell at Chalet Fontana about her very large, two bedroom apartment in the chalet. Perfect location and perfect host. http://www.ferntree.ch/chalet/fontana_summer.htm
But do it quickly. She books a year in advance.

Not a personal reco, but did you check www.booking.com for apartment/gasthouse/chalet reviews? I could only find Chalet Anemone...but, its something!
Also, had you checked
www.muerren.ch/en ?
Its difficult to tease out recos, but there are tons of interior photos of your 4-named possibilities which might help in deciding, and if you can read German, more descriptions...
All of your contenders are 4* except Raufthubel, which is 3* (not that it would matter to me).

Hi, don't forget Murren is only accessible by cable-car & 10.80 CHf each time(unless you fancy a three-hour arduous hike). My recommendation for anyone spending more than three days in the area is to buy a BeoAbo pass from the train staion in Lauterbrunnen. This gives free travel for up to a month on the local bus, train (to Wengen and Murren) and cable-car (to Grutschalp, Gimmelwald and Murren). You need a passport size photograph and a fee of 55 CHf (seniors), 68 Chf (adults) or 51 CHf (juniors) for the two zones in the Lauterbrunnen area (116 & 106).
For additional fee all zones in the Bernese Oberland can be covered.
The BeoAbo is especially useful for anyone not coming by air and train, as they won't benefit from any of the half-price fare offers.
See more about the BeoAbo at http://www.beoabo.ch/de/index.php
