Short but sweet, that's my Degas.
the saint, her name is Lauren, has created havoc on AOL and on another forum, I'm told.
Marginal, my deepest sympathy. I have had the same sad loss last year and only now do I feel like joining the world again.

Is this all some sort of code, because I haven't understood one word any of you have said. I do remember something about Degas going to Iraq last year, but what's this about "thin", is that a poster? Is this thread only for the "in" crowd

Hagan, Thin has had several screen names. He has always been an interesting poster regardless of his screen name. Just recently his mother and stepfather were killed in an auto accident. Thin and his SO are or soon on their way to either Greece or Turkey, I don' remember which country. I believe his mother was planning on going with him. A sad story.

No hagan, anyone who posts here regularly is an "In" crowd. I'm the one who posted about thin who lost his mother who was always a starring player on his trip reports. Thinangorgus was his name until he was banned (degas and I were too at th same time) He came back with other names as did witty Patrick. And Yes, his mother was supposd to go on the trip as well as the usual auntie but she will not go this time. We all tell thin to go with Keith, his mother would want that. I don't understand your problem, hagan. if I said something about an obscure vuillage is it going to annoy you?

Terrible tragedy for Marginal.
But I think that degas was telling Fidel that he's not only "pithier than ever," but "thin too." That's how I read it...
Okay, degas. Just my two cents. Since you clearly want to rejoin the Fodor's world, come clean on the Iraq thread. Were you deployed or not? The thread became fishy to many of us, including me. No need to go into the details of why. We all make mistakes. Did you make one? Enough cryptic posting, and just tell the truth.
