Where to Stay in theToro Wine Region?

My wife and I will be travelling in the Toro Wine Region in late March and we are looking for somewhere to base ourselves for a few days.
Toro seems to have just 1 hotel, Zamora seems a lttle too far (after sampling the Temperanillo) each day. Maybe a finca or B&B?
Your help would be most appreciated.
Cheers !

Toro is a very small village and you are rather limited to accommodations, but the it has more than one hotel. You can check out the following properties in Toro:

3-star Hotel Maria de Molina (http://www.partner-hotels.com/hotel-...ina/index.html)

3-star Hotel Juan II, with is actually a selection of JP Moser (jpmoser.com). It even has a small pool for those lazy afternoons. (http://www.allgoodhotels.com/hoteljuan2.html)

I hope this helps.

Hi Steve , we also plan to visit Toro around the 12/13 March.
We are going to stay in Tordesillas in the Parador. BTW on March they have this amazing offer of
30 euros per person.+breakfast.
I also thought both to stay in Toro or Zamora, but at the end of the day chose the parador. For how long are you going to be in the area of the Duero ?We are planing to do
Burgos(3 nights) ,Lerma (2) , Peñafiel, Valladolid (2)and then the Parador in Tordesillas.
Which bodegas are you reommending to visit, I have a list but are a little lost.
Toro of course has those great wines and also is a city that is a landsmark in Spanish history.

And while in Toro, don't miss the portico in the church (I saw it years ago and cannot be more specific, but everyone there knows it) that still has the original paint and is incredibly well preserved.
