Where to stay before flying out of Milan (Malpensa)?
What's a good place to stay before flying out of Milan? (Malpensa) We are hoping to stay near one of the lakes in the area but can't decide which one. Good food, wine and scenery would be ideal... Our flight leaves at 11AM out of Malpensa and we would be dropping off a rental car beforehand.

We followed a recommendation to stay in Ranco on Lake Maggiore's SE coast and it was perfect.. It will be a very easy drive to MXP. The town is charming and has good hotels and restaurants including a Michelin starred one at Il Sole.
