Where to go next....

I just returned from Germany a few days ago, and I'm sad to be home It was so awesome. So now, it's time to start thinking about where to go in Europe for next year. We went to Rome the year before, and I was in love with Rome also - but there was something about the fun, party atmosphere of Germany that was fantasic. The way they set up the long tables in the beer halls/gardens just made you become friends with the people around you, and we talked to many more new people in Germany than in Italy.

So - any suggestions for our next country, where we may be able to see wonderful history & museums, plus have some fun party time like we did in Germany?

Spain! Great food, history, museums, night clubs and people who love to have a good time.

Amsterdam.
Very fun place. I had myself lots of fun there when I went 5 years ago.

Plus there is a lot of history and plenty of things to do and see.

Paris has all of the things that you mention. It is an excellent walking city,it is home to so many world class museums but the Louvre and Orsay are musts! We didn't really do any partying, but I understand that there are lots of clubs in the Latin Quarter. Amsterdam is also awesome, it is so laid back, but because it is configured around the canals, I thought it was a little harder to get around in than Paris.
