Where to go in Greece

Me and my partner are looking to go to greece this summer, we want somewhere with lively nightlife, but with a bit of culture too, we want to be right in the middle of it all, We have been told to try Lindos in Rhodes or Kos Town. Any other suggestions?

Hi

Have you looked at Ios? Popular party island for the young.

Cheers

Mykonos is the party island. How old are you? You could also visit Santorini and Crete. Because Rhodes is kinda over by itself, day trips to other islands could be difficult.

Mailia on Crete, Agios Nicolaos on Crete or Rhodes Town could be what you are looking for. Crete has lots to offer as does Rhodes. I like Lindos very much but it's more bars and tavernas than nightclubs, so it depends what you are looking for.

Thanks guys, we went ahead and booked Kos town, namely because it was cheap but it does look good, we can get the boat over to rhodes and even turkey from there and the nightlife looks pretty lively, but since you said santorini, i had a look and am quite taken by the place, will try that next summer! x
