Where to eat around Lauterbrunen?

We stayed at the Hotel Silberhorn, just up the hill from the train station, 2 years ago and got their half-board. The dinners were fantastic (I even saved each menu so I could remember them), with 5 courses. The setting is gorgeous, as it's mostly glass walls, similar to a sunroom. You're surrounded by the Alps, and you can view the train on its way up to Wengen. I can assure you, we looked forward to dinner every day! The cost then, without half-board, was 35 Swiss Francs. Definitely worth it.

I think the Silberhorn is perhaps the best of the local establishments.
The Oberland Hotel is fair to good, with an English speaking wait staff and management.
The place close to the train station is not the most elegant.
If you want a really good place, I suggest riding up the hill to Wengen.
The Hotel Crystal was the best place, but it suffered from the old location problem: upstairs without an obvious "come on in". The result: closed for dinner.
The hotels along the street all have terraces for dining. That makes them very inviting and they can be very full at times in the high summer season.
