Where to buy a last-minute money belt?

Hey all,
I'll be leaving for Europe in two weeks and want to buy a nylon money belt. It's too late to order online, does anyone know any typical stores in the US that sell these things?
Thanks!

Many luggage stores have them - we got ours at Luggage N Leather. Some drug stores like CVS also have them.

Target usually has a well-stocked travel section.

Like others say - they are available everywhere. Luggage shops, department store luggage departments, WalMart, Target, outlet malls, at your departure airport, at your arrival airport. You won't have a problem.

Two weeks is not too late to order on line; if you are willing to pay for express shipping you could have it the day after tomorrow. Even with regular shipping, most internet vendors (Im thinking of Magellans and LLBean specifically)will get the merchandise to you in a week if they have it in stock.

maybe I don't get it - for something so readily available like a money belt, why pay postage - when one can be picked in the OPs neighborhood (unless one lives in a rural areas w/o much shopping)

I got one from Target but didn't like it. It kept twisting and wouldn't lie flat so I found another one at TJMaxx. It's strictly not a money belt it's a runners belt by Nike but has room for essentials and is well fitting and much better quality than the Target version. cost? Both around $8. The Nike one is Duodri? material too.

Are you sure you want a nylon money belt? Sounds hot. They make silk ones.

Fred Meyers, Target, drug stores, department stores, and luggage stores, all have travel accessories.

Get on the phone and call around to stores closest to you and ask.

What are they used for? To keep the dollar's value up?

All the suggestions for places to obtain money belts are good. I have modified my belt in a way that keeps it from twisting. I bought soft elastic belting at a fabric store and, after removing the belt's tie-type straps, replaced them with the belting. This keeps the $$ belt in place and it is easy to slip on and off--just like you do your "unmentionables" or your slacks. I wear my $belt with the pocket to the back--it fits flatter in the small of the back and is more comfortable. Just my opinion. Ciao. mhm

It's not too late to order online from Magellans, and they have a great selection of money belts and neck pouches.

I placed an order very late on Thursday, it arrived the following Wednesday. And that was just regular delivery, no special rush.

Another good way to go is the pants from Travelsmith.co, they have hidden zipper pockets inside of the regular pockets that are perfect for cash and credit cards.

You can probably get fast delivery.
