Where should we go next?
My wife and I were married on April 30. We just returned from our 17 day honeymoon in Italy. What an amazing trip. We spent about a week in Tuscany with Montecatini Terme as our base. Then a couple days in Rome. Then we went to Sorrento for a week. It was a fabulous adventure. We had both been to Italy before, but not for this long a time. We love to travel and when my wife turned 50 two years ago week celebrated by going to Greece and five of it's islands. I am going to turn 50 next summer (2005). My question is where should we go for my 50th birthday? Please give me your suggestions.

Hi Tim,
How important are food, museums, art, history (and what era), good weather and architecture in your choice?
City or countryside?
If you haven't been to France, Paris and Provence or the Cote d'Azur would be nice, or Paris, Bruges and Amsterdam. If you like classical music, especially opera, Vienna is great, and can easily be combined with Budapest.

France is wonderful. You might try a week in Paris and a week in the countryside - there are so many options! Normandy in the summer, Provence or the Dordogne in the spring or fall, the Loire any time. If you have been to France, how about London and the English countryside - the Cotswolds perhaps.
