Where should I go on vacation

Where should I go on my next vacation? Something in my budget would be great. Thanks.

I don't know why I was thinking of Jackie Gleason just now. To the moon, baby!

No clue what your budget is, so, assuming it is just a few dollars, you may wish to go to the local supermarket, and just kind of hang out in the produce area.

When somebody wants to test the ripeness of the produce, offer to squeeze their tomatoes for them.

Well, at least you will be offering entertainment to everyone else around, even if you don't have any fun picking yourself up after the offer!!

PS: but it IS a within your budget (of course, I have no idea what your lawyer will cost)

LOL!

Doug, may I suggest that you start with where you are, what the budget amount is, when you want to take your vacation, how long your vacation will be for. Than what your interest are.
Than what places you are considering.

If you reread your post you will understand these funny answers you are getting. They do add a chuckle to the day.

I'm fairly certain that Doug knew what type of answers he'd be getting before he made this post.

Cool, a Friday's frivolous post on Monday! I would never open this post, but noticed it has 8 replies! So I rightfully thought something funny must go on! I am so proud of myself now!

If she hasn't left yet, then maybe you could join Scarlett on the vacation she was planning about a month ago - via handbasket.

LOL, bardo, we haven't gone to Hell yet, although at times it seems we have, but I promise to do a trip report when we get back..handbasket and all.

Doug,
A few Existential Thoughts on Vacations, where to go and so on and so forth~

Someday I hope to.... Go where on vacation?
At the end of my life (when I look back) ...., Did I have fun on my vacation?
The future holds...., More vacations?
I wish...., I knew where to go on vacation.
I dream about...,Vacations.
My vision is...., Longer vacations.
In time I will....., Go where on vacation?
If I could change the future I would.... Know where I was going before I got there.
If I could change the past.., I would not have gone to a couple of those places on vacation.
I hope this helps.
Scarlett

No matter where you go, please be sure to visit your local bank and exchange a few thousand for tic tacs and a cup of coffee upon arrival. Jet lag is a dreadful thing, dahling.

Thank you Suze, Paris it is!
Should I book my airfare now or wait til later? Do I have to learn to speak French or will Parisians prefer to speak English? Do I need to get francs before I leave or can I get them at a bank in Paris? Should I tip in francs or US dollars?
I know I'm asking a lot of questions but I can't find the answers to them in any guide book. Thanks.

Actually they use beads as the main medium of exchange in Paris. Purple ones are most valuable. Clear glass run a close second.
