Spring Break day after Easter for a week. Thinking of Florence, Amsterdam, Austria, Ireland, or .....?
What areas would not be advised because of possible Sightseeing closings due to Easter holidays? If anyone would have any ideas of splitting up the week between two countries, or cities, please advise. For the seasoned traveler, maybe hotel suggestions near city centers for under $150 for double with bath.
Thinking of flying into Frankfort, or Paris, or London (standby) for the first leg of the trip, with possible low cost airline connections to suggested areas.

I think you need to provide more info before anyone can give you a useful answer. Why are you going - history, food and wine, art, beach resort, great countryside, hiking - which? And where have you been already?

Oh, I'm sorry. Yes, that would be helpful. We have been to London, Oxford, Paris, Rome, Venice, Zurich. Rome and Venice are the only cities where we stayed a hotel, -- the others we spent with friends.
