Where is Fodorite Degas?

Have I missed recent postings by Degas? Seems like he hasn't been heard from in a long time. . .

Aw shucks! It was funner to imagine he was off on one of his great sounding "walks" he shared with us. I still have to get to his "Passages" walk that sounded so great.

klondike, do any passages walk you can find. They are fabulous.

As I recall you were in La Rochelle recently so I think you do more than just Paris. If you're ever in Nantes make sure you see the Passage Pommeraye. It is gorgeous.

Thanks for the suggestion, Indy. Though I lived in Brittany for 3 years I never visited Nantes in-depth and was thinking of seeing it in the fall when we will be back. You'll have to post any other suggestion before then, but if I remember correctly you're busy preparing a trip of your own. Fun!

Anybody heard from Mai Tai Tom? Haven't seen a post by him in forever either.

Hi klondike!

3 years in Brittany?!?! I'm green, green, green with envy.

I really liked Nantes. Jules Verne's house, the art museum, a lunch cruise on the Erde river, the cathedral, it was all gorgeous. Cigalechanta and I both love the Cigale restaurant there. I want to make it back soon, but there's so much to see in France.

You're right. I'm at 27 (dang, it's killin' me) and counting days until I get to revisit Lyon, then Beaune and Dijon.

Ask away if you have questions about Nantes. I'll do the best I can.

I've been wondering about Maitai Tom too and famousuncleart. I figure Maitai has to have a bit of time off to recharge his double entendres.

Hiya Indy Travel
I am still kicking and reading that you missed me made up for a lousy day.
I can't remember if you read my journal in London. If not, Got to Europe for the posting.

However, I am making a home exchange in June for Sweden and I will post my journal there.

Thanks for thinking of me.

famousuncleart - I think Indy is in France right now.

I'm sure Degas was at the derby today on millinaire's row hanging out with Kid Rock.
