Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa, after marrying moved to Orlando, Fl, then Dallas,Tx, back to Pgh, then to southfield, MI, then we decided we'd had enough of cold weather and snow after living in South and west for so long and moved back to Maitland,Fl, a suburb of Orlando. And fortunately home to an international airport !!

Mimi, great post!! I posted something similar a few months back called: "What do you do for a living and how much vacation/holiday time do you get?" I also got some great replies. As for me.., born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Moved around to Orlando, FL, San Francisco, CA, New York, NY and now back in Philadelphia, PA. Funny how we end up back where we started a lot of times.

Born in Michigan (lots of us out there, eh?)
Spent time (from six months to years and years) in:
Tennesee
Eugene, OR (Go Ducks!)
France (Paris and near Lyon)
Massachusetts
Durham, UK
Oxford, UK
Chicago
New York (LI)
Am now in Washington, D.C.
I wish, wish, wish that I could go back to the UK (not forever, just 10 years or so)...but work permits are few and far between!

Born in Denver, Colorado. Lived in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, for a year and now live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Would love to live in Sorrento.
Deborah and Capo is it true there are two seasons in Minneapolis/St. Paul: winter and road construction?

I live in Fairview Heights in southwestern Illinois, about 15 miles from St. Louis. When I travel I always say I'm from St. Louis, because if you mention Illinois, everyone assumes you live near Chicago (it's 260 miles from me). I've been to London more times than I've been to Chicago!
