well used too much vacation time for my honeymoon and my job is a June-May fiscal year

But have 10 days in Europe end of September-Definitely western part of Germany (Dusseldorf, Koln), Amsterdam and Brugges.

Wedding in Buffalo NY in May---stay in Niagara Falls Canadian side (cheaper!)

Would like to hit up either Montreal or Quebec City for a long weekend--depends on the flight deals.

Otherwise---weekend trips to Ohio/Pennsylvanian cities --since we are new to this area and I wouldn't mind checking out the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Cedar Point for the world's best roller coasters (kid at heart!).

May go down to Boca Raton when my stepmom visits from Japan.

But at this point we are working to save money to have a kid and possibly let me quit work and go back to school.
So the travel has to go on the back burner for now to some extent.

How many more years til retirement????

To SA and Bob,

Amelia Island is great! We used to spend a week every summer at the Ameilia Island Plantation. The walking trails are wonderful and my husband enjoyed the golf. Now all of our vacation time is spent in Europe but it is nice to know that Amelia Island is close by.

I am in the stages of planning a July return trip out West-- Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. We felll in love with this area after canceling a trip to France last year and went Western USA instead. Loved it.

A weekend trip to NYC in May (yearly event).

Portugal and Spain in October 2004. Can't wait!

I try to make it to Europe in the Spring and Fall every year; this year we are re-building the house deck instead and the Spring trip is taking a back seat (urghhh!).
