Where are all the messages?

It appears the website is having problems. I finally went to DESTINATIONS then clicked on TALK. That worked. Most people won't be able to see this message.
For future reference, I have found that when the website has problems, which does happen occasionally, I go back to Destinations and then Talk. It usually works.
Posting is a whole other problem.

I'm glad it's not just me! I can get the messages if I double click on them. But every time I refresh or switch boards or try to post a reply, it loses my login. I think I'll go do something else for a few hours and hope for the best!

Holey, moley! When I try to log in, which I have to do to navigate anywhere on the site, it says my password is incorrect. I've tried to post all morning. I'm with you, Marilyn. I'm outta here until they work the bugs out at HQ.
If you can't read this reply, you'll know I couldn't post :-0

It seems pretty clear now that the site was totally down from at least 6:51 am to 1:38 pm
... and maybe there were intermedaite degree of "working" to lesser degrees after that?
But perhaps it's all moot now.
Best wishes,
Rex

I thought it was just me because I was doing some installing on my computer. I thought I must have messed something up.
Well, while it was not working, I did the laundry, corrected research reports, went grocery shopping and cooked a delicious meal. There is something to be said for Fodors being down for a few hours!

I sent the Fodors editors an e-mail Sunday AM to report the problem and just got this nice response:
We apologize for the technical difficulties. We were having some site problems on Sunday and things should be back to normal. Please try and post and let us know if you are still having problems. Thank you for your patience.
staff, fodors.com
So I am doing as asked. Looks like the problem is solved. Thanks, guys.
