I love watching tv in Europe - even if I can't understand a word they say. I even like to watch the adds.

Slingbox is my friend during my travels. It allows me to watch all my DirecTV channels anywhere I have high speed internet connection.

Nothing better than having the ability to watch a football game in my hotel room in Buenos Aires or Sopranos in a room in Kabul.

In Italia I love watching tv, over the last year I've learned the language and makes it even more enjoyable now.

And the belladonne they have on tv shows ...mamma mia! Caterina Balivo...bellisima!

lol

Ciao!

I find CNN quite entertaining - they seem to have picked special presenters for Europe with weird unplaceable accents purporting to be British and posh.

I found this an interesting question. I almost hate to say this but I am a TV nut. I have a TV in almost every room in my house including my bathroom and kitchen. We just got back from a 25 day trip. We stayed in 8 hotels and only the last two had TVs. Not even my kids tried to turn them on. I didn't miss TV one bit. I am shocked!

I try NEVER to put the TV on, but my husband always wants to get the news and sports news.I always think its a sign of a good holiday if he doesn't find time to do this!

We weren't in Europe but in Mexico and happened to be channel surfing and found that Dora the Explorer teaches English to Mexican kids!

My all-time favourite is the Tango spoof of the Sony Coloured Balls ad - complete with frog and drainpipe!
