When to buy Eurostar tickets?

We are traveling in early June.
I see tickets from 45-79 Euros. The tickets we would like are 56 Euros each. Is that a reasonable price? It seems okay to me but I don't really have a good reference point.

Thanks!

You are asking us to comment on market priced product without specifying the product.

The product price depends on:
date, time, class, travel segment, and which site you are looking at.

What ever prices range you are looking at . . . will only go higher. The cheapest tix sell out.

So go to the Eurostar website (not a re-seller like Rail Europe) as soon as your dates are certain and buy the tickets of the class you want.

Waiting, best case, will cost your more . . . and worst case, the train you want will sell out.

We always buy as soon as possible. I don't know where you are going but that sounds like a great price to me.

It seems a good price to me, but I have no idea what Eurostar tickets normally cost. It's just that I consider that a reasonable price to pay for a high speed train for such a distance. Cheaper than I ever pay in the US for trains.

I'm not sure what you want to know that would affect your decision. If those are the prices, that's what they are. Even if everyone said oh, that's not reasonable, what good would it do you if that's the price you have to pay to buy one?

56 euros London-Paris is cheap, compared to a dozen of eurostar tickets I bought for myself or others, in many different times of the year. You can buy it as soon as possible. It will only go up, as janisj said.

Thank you! That answers my question. I wasn't sure if this was similar to airline tickets which go up and down.
It sounds like we need to finalize our plans and buy the tickets.

buy them ASAP -could be more anytime.

56 euro sounds like a great deal- how much could you possible save even if they did go down a bit - rarely happens.
