Seems to be a lot of problems with searches or is it just me?

Yes, it's unexplainable, but Fodors is unaware of this problem, or unable to do anything about it. You can't really search for anything posted in the past three weeks or so, nor things posted in large chunks of the summer and early fall.<BR><BR>So it isn't just you.<BR><BR>Best wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR>

I think sometimes they are not only unsearchable, but also just plain deleted/lost? Even if no offending language, etc. I have taken to printing out responses because sometimes they disappear before I can get back.

Well, well, well... take a look now, Sandy and see if they are deleted or simply couldn't be located with the indexing not updated.<BR><BR>It's been updated just today - - maybe tonight, to be exact.<BR><BR>Thank you Fodors. Glad the message got throught.<BR>

Alas, not every problem was fixed - - maybe there is something incredibly difficult to find and repair. Databases can be like that. <BR><BR>The &quot;holes&quot; in the indexing for July 22 to Aug 19, and for June 13 to July 14 are still there.<BR>
