What happened to my post?
I have posted a couple of messages requesting opinions about a trip for a family of four for 2 weeks to Provence and they seem to disappear the next day...or at least I can't find them. Am I doing something wrong??? I searched for the text, "family" under the search topic for France and I don't see it. I've got a lot more questions to ask !!!

I have brought your post to the top. It was down to about #220. You have to realize that even with all the problems posting here, messages move down very quickly when they are not replied to in a day's time. You just have to keep scrolling down until you find it -- the search function seems to be working better, but not all posts are available by search immediately.

Toipping is useful , but it is inherently short-lived. Even more useful is to provide the URL of a post once you find it.<BR><BR>http://www.fodors.com/forums/pgMessages.jsp?fid=2&tid=34398739<BR><BR>And I had no problem retrieving it using Boolean ("and" / "or" / "not" searching on "family AND provence". Many people do not realize that Boolean searching does work here, and Fodors has never provided any instructions, nor documentation on how it can be helpful.<BR><BR>Best wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR>[email protected]<BR>
