Forum Search Engine Problem?

Has anyone else noticed a problem with the search engine as of late? None of my recent searches seem to bring up any recent posts.

I think the most recent result I was able to obtain was from a search on "Dresden", and it was dated 5/31. I know for a fact that there is at least one post more recent than that, coz *I* put it out there!

Just wondering if there's a problem to be addressed here....

Hi,

The computer has fallen behind in it's indexing.

For a while it was a month behind.

It's only 6/6 today; it isn't that unusual to not be able to pull things up in a search by word within a couple days of their being posted.

It's a lot more than "few days"...

See http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34620862 - - now 33 days, and counting...

Best wishes,

Rex

Aha.

Well, clearly, it ain't just me. So, OK, I work with computer systems every day, and am prepared to be patient.

For a while.

But, darn it, the 'search' capability is really useful when it's working properly. Hope the remediation is prompt!
