What's blooming during early June in Tuscany?

We will be in Chianti for 2 weeks starting June 3. Will there be any poppies left? Is there anything else blooming at that time? Thank you.

There should still be some blooming in Chianti. They still are here in France, anyway. Roses have been out for a month or two, but are still robust. My wife says the wildflowers are best after rain, so keep an eye on the forecast. I don't really have much info for you, but I am surprised no one has responded. Buon viaggio in Chianti! Rouss

Fireflies for one thing. And if you keep your eyes open, there are more than 40 species of orchid to be found in Tuscany, many of them along the side of the road: http://www.greve-in-chianti.com/hiki...rchids-eng.htm
