What to wear in London and Paris?
Do we need thick coats? Will it rain most of the time?
What is the weather like? I know it's about 15C in those places right now, but I wonder if people who are actually there right now could tell us what it is actually like. What clothing should we bring?

Ths was my exact question for Paris & all advised me to go casual no dresses or heels or my favorite swede coat. As all advised, use commen sense for the weather. P.S. I'm still bringing my swede coat-rain or not! SSeems like best advise for a definate is comfortable shoes. I just dyed my garden shoes to wear - imagine!

In England (well, the south east bit anyway) the weather rarely gets really cold before January. So London over the next few weeks will probably be, at worse, grey and a bit drizzly.
A coat or jacket would be needed for the evenings, but not a particularly thick one. Daytime at the moment is still warm enough (just) for a t-shirt or sweater on its own.
I'll leave someone else to fill you in on 'les vetements' for Paris, but it won't be wildly different to London.
