Getting from Orly to CDG
Arriving at Orly from Barcelona a 1 PM on a Friday and will be staying at a hotel at CDG for one night. What is the fastest way to get from one airport to the other. Will have luggage. How much for bus, train, cab, shuttle? Time is of the essence.

Fastest is probably by Orly VAL people mover (monorail) from terminals to Antony station on RER B which has direct trains to CDG - taxi could be quicker depending on traffic but often not.
www.ratp.fr for RER schedules.
www.aeroportsdeparis.com for airport buses, shuttles, etc.

Unless I had only minor carry-on baggage, I would opt for the Air France bus to connect the 2 airports. Otherwise, I would take the RER B. If ever I were to choose any other road transport between the two, it would be a psychiatric emergency.

The AF shuttle will drop you off at your next gate in CDG. That's a certain plus.
From Orly to CDG it takes 1 hour. When it's very heavy traffic, it will still needs about 1 hour plus maybe an extra fifteen minutes.
The shuttles leave each twenty minutes, so it's fairly fast for transfer.
TIP: try to sit on the window on the right hand side of the bus. You can check to make sure your bags are not off loaded too early.
